The
Architect
Registry

After a certain point,
every firm begins to look the same

A portfolio shows a finished room. It doesn't show who runs the project past month four, whether a sensibility holds when the budget contracts, or how a practice behaves in front of a co-op board.

Two architects can produce work you admire, and living through a project with each can feel nothing alike. The right architect is rarely the one who interviews best. The difference surfaces once the project is underway, which is after the decision has been made.

The Architect Registry issues an independent judgment on which architect is right for a particular project. The recommendation is a single architect, or none.

Architects do not apply, and cannot pay for a recommendation.

Most projects involve significant residential work in New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the Catskills.
